How to Prepare for a New Website

Preparing for a new website can feel overwhelming, and chaotic. Starting a website design without a plan makes the process take longer and not turn out as cohesive. (I admit that I have done this on my own site on the past and will never again!) It’s so easy though to find a pretty template and start plugging in your images, only to realize your missing written content, or don’t have a strategic plan.

We have a solution.

We’ve created a free downloadable checklist. It can be used when you work with a web designer, or if you are using a template to design your website yourself. It will walk you through a simplified version of what each of our website design client’s goes through during the planning phase of their projects.

How to plan for a strategic website

It’s divided into 3 sections: gathering / creating your content, brand discovery, and planning a strategic website design. Everything is simple and to the point. The list itself is two pages and can easily be printed out as a quick reference.
