Moment-Driven Workshops Website

Websites for Photographer

Introducing… Moment-Driven Workshops for Photographers new website!  These photojournalism workshops for wedding and portrait photographers were created by my client Candice Cusic.  Candice and I have been working on many projects together for her photography business for close to two years.  I’ve watched her mentoring and workshop business grow during this time.

Last spring Candice came to me saying she needed a way to really promote her workshops, so we created www.MomentDrivenWorkshops.com, a WordPress website dedicated to workshops, mentoring and education for photographers.

Candice also worked with a videographer to film her workshops and create promo videos.  He did an amazing job, so we incorporated the video near the top of the new website.  It gives viewers a chance right away to meet Candice and to get immersed into the feel of her workshops.

While Moment-Driven is a separate brand from Candice’s wedding photography, Cusic Photography, we wanted to keep a similar feel, so we stayed with the same bright red, white and almost black colors, and bold fonts. It’s not red enough.  Red is always a bit scary as a designer and Candice kept telling me, it’s not red enough.  Knowing her brand and vibrant personality, I finally went for it to the true red she envisioned, and realized right away that it works for her.

The website is a custom design using the Genesis framework, featuring Gravity forms to collect client information, and utilizing Paypal so photographers can quickly signup and pay for a workshop or mentoring session.  We had lots of content and different types of services to showcase, so organization was also key.

Towards the end of developing the site, Candice got invited to offer her workshop at a photography conference in London!  We quickly incorporated a new section for this onto the website.  She not only sold out the workshop but has already announced a date for next year, expanding Moment-Driven from being based in Chicago to now also include a special date in London annually!

Candice is an amazing photojournalist, wedding photographer, and teacher.  If you are a professional photographer, either just starting out or experienced, I highly recommend connecting with Candice for a short mentoring session or a full blown immersion into one of her workshops.
