This project was a redesign of Lindsay Fauver Photography’s website, or as she called it a “brand refresh”.

Lindsay came to me with a brand already in place but a website that didn’t truly encompass herself and her vision.  Over the course of six weeks, we worked closely together and came up with her new look: elegant, southern, and warm.

As you can see from her inspiration board, Lindsay’s colors and style was clear.  Filled with tans with texture, warm and yet minimalist, or maybe clean is a better word. It’s definitely put together, polished and welcoming.

Lindsay is located in Charlottesville, Virginia, a college town in the heart of the state, not far from the incredibly beautiful Shenandoah National Park, and a place enriched with southern culture. While Lindsay travels worldwide as a wedding photographer, incorporating the southern touch was a definite must.

Lindsay Fauver Photography is a boutique studio, with a high end brand, attracting clients that are willing to invest in a luxury product.  We both felt the website should communicate the care and attention that Lindsay puts into to each client.  Part of communicating this was to create a well organized site, with no information left missing.  From an about page, that really shares who Lindsay is and her values, to a journal where she blogs regularly.  We also updated her client look book, that she sends as a welcome when couples inquire.

My favorite section of the website is her gallery page.  We did quite a few revisions of this page, collaborating our ideas until it was right.  Each image changes slightly when hovered, and leads to a gallery of engagements, weddings, and anniversaries.

It was such a pleasure working with Lindsay.  She’s a strong passionate woman, who knows what she wants, and that strength comes through in every aspect of her style.  There was never a question of which way to go, when it came to decisions.  She knows her brand inside out, and just needed my help in bringing her visions to life.
