Recently a photographer friend, who runs her business part time, came to me looking for a quick solution to her outdated bludomain template.  She wasn’t looking to invest in custom branding, and I understand that is not right for every client, but she needed help.

We brainstormed some ideas for how to put something together that would give her a professional look, but wasn’t a big project.  She was already using WordPress as her blog in addition to her portfolio template website.  So I suggested that we convert that WordPress blog into a full website with all her information and portfolio.

Instead of using Pro Photo, we decided to use the Genesis framework with a premade theme from Restored 316.  So I can’t take credit for any design aspects here, but just putting it all together, functional, pretty and professional.

My client was thrilled.  She handed me all her content before leaving for vacation and came home, after a week enjoying the beach with her family, to a new website.
