Jessie Mary: Modern Classic Photography

The certain look in my eye, is when I am up to something, maybe a bit creative, most likely pushing some boundaries, definitely something daring. Running a business is the craziest most daring thing I have ever done. It constantly requires a spark, and gutsy moves. It requires putting myself out there to the world, in ways that I’m not always comfortable (such as writing this personal blog post). But the payoff, I get to be me, and to be a professional photographer, as I have dreamed since I was 15.

Danny is a huge part of my business, so I thought my name should have a little bit of him in it. Though he does not pick up a camera and second shoot with me, he gives me inspiration, support and is a constant sounding board for my ideas. Recently, he also took over handling all my numbers, which is a huge task that I despise doing. Now I just send an email or put a receipt on his desk!

Jessie Mary is still Jessica Shepard Photography at its core. Photojournalist wedding photography, and fine art portraits, with a modern classic style. A bit of art, a twist of tradition, and personalized service.
