Cheryle and David got married on June 18th, at Jenkins Estate in Beaverton, Oregon. I used to live around the corner from this estate, owned by the parks department, and go there all the time. Just over a month ago we left our home in Oregon. We started out two days behind schedule for our travel plans. Kelly & Eli's wedding had almost 400 guests and was at their family's church, Young Nak in Beaverton. While the bride got ready, all her sisters surrounded her, and even more family would pop in for a quick hug. The wedding itself was in Korean. Almost two months ago, we adopted a new cat, Cougar. We searched for weeks looking for our new family member. We visited Animal Aid in SW Portland a few times. It's an amazing free roaming shelter. We met so many wonderful cats but not one that was just the right for us. I was a bit scared to go to the Oregon Humane Society because I thought the choice would be too difficult.
