My daughter just turned one, and I am amazed at how much she has changed. I received a first birthday card and it had a picture of her taken minutes after birth. I barely recognized her. I was not one of those happy pregnant people. I enjoyed feeling the kicks and squirms, and greatly looked forward to meeting my new baby. I think I was a tad cranky and anxious throughout pregnancy. I am also someone that is much more comfortable as the photographer, not the model. I did a maternity photography session this weekend with Lisa and her husband Chris. They invited me into their home, which had great natural lighting and an incredible backyard.
