About
August 19, 2008About Me
When I was 15, I saved up $350, took a bus to 47th Street Photo in New York City, and purchased my first SLR camera, a Minolta x700. Though I still have it, I now prefer to shoot with my Nikon digital system.
Since my first photography class in high school I knew it was my passion. I spent two years at the School of Visual Arts in New York City studying photography. Then I transferred to the State University of New York at New Paltz, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts/ photography.
After college, I moved to the west coast, where I met my husband. It took me many years later, and the birth of my daughter, to find the courage and determination to start my own business, pursuing photography as a full-time career.
In my spare time, I enjoy laughing with my family, reading, hiking, and exploring the coast, usually with a camera in hand.
