Ashley & Blake had their wedding at the Hay Adams Hotel in Washington DC. It’s a beautiful luxury hotel, right next door to the White House. Ashley’s bridal suite was bigger than my first apartment. While Ashley and her bridesmaid’s finished getting ready in the suite, Blake waited to see her on the rooftop deck, where their reception would later be.
The rooftop is a closed in ballroom with a large deck all around. Being in the heart of Washington DC, the view is of course stunning. The ballroom has several doors that stayed open through the evening, giving the wedding an outdoor feel with the comforts of being indoors.
Blake had an amazing reaction to seeing Ashley, and I love the slightly shy look she gets on her face while approaching him. From getting ready, to the church, and reception, it was an amazing day! Congrats Ashley and Blake!
