The wedding reception was held under a giant tent on the other side of the field. The food was home-cooked by the groom’s family, which just amazes me. The wedding cake was a big cupcake tower from Portland’s Saint Cupcake. Beside the tower, the bride and groom had a personal wedding cake to cut. The best of both worlds, the fun of little treats with still the tradition of cutting your wedding cake!







We did a “cupcake tower” for our wedding! We love cupcakes and that day our guests all did, too. We debated for awhile about having different kinds of cake flavors and then decided, ‘Nah, make them all chocolate!’
I’m a chocolate lover too but something inspired me to try a coconut and it was fabulous.
